HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Hackensack has several vacancies on boards and committees, and is calling for volunteers who would like to serve the city in one or more of these positions.

Hackensack is asking for volunteers to fill a wide variety of positions.

Condo and Co-op Board -- 11 vacancies
HAPADA (Hackensack Municipal Alliance to Prevent Alcohol & Drug Abuse) -- seven vacancies
City employee -- one vacancy
Housing Authority -- two vacancies
Library Board -- one vacancy
Local Assistance Board -- one vacancy
Planning Board -- five vacancies
Rent Stabilization Board -- two vacancies
Shade Tree Advisory Committee -- one vacancy
Zoning Board -- five vacancies
Veterans Advisory Committee -- five vacancies
Cultural Arts Board -- seven vacancies
Access to All Advisory Board -- five vacancies
Environmental Commission -- five vacancies

Anyone interested in serving should complete the Citizen Leadership Form, and return it by email, regular mail or by hand to the clerk's office.
